About Us

The idea to prepare a list of Aggarwal's residing in BRS Nagar, Ludhiana and unite them under one banner was conceived by Sh. Rajinder Gupta, Sh. R.L. Bansal, Sh. R.P. Gupta and others. Later on encouraged by the residents, a society named Aggarwal Society formed in 20.01.2008 and was registered on 05.06.2008 under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) vide registration No. 107 (2008-2009) with the title "Maharaja Aggarsain Sewa Sangh" registered office at Ludhiana.

Maharaja Aggarsain Sewa Sangh was granted income tax exemption under Income Tax Act 1951 Section 80 G vide letter No. CIT-III/LDH/JB/80-G/333/2012-13/356 dated 30.04.2012.

All annual returns and accounts are audited by the Chartered Accountants, placed in the Annual General Body Meeting for approval.

All returns are filed and accounts are maintained as per government guidelines.

After the gap of every two years, election of the President is held as per law and rules of the Society.

Highlights of our activities

We hold medical check-up camps regularly, where consultations from specialist doctors, blood tests and medicines are provided free of cost.

Blood donation camps are organised regularly.

Artificial limbs camps are held every year, where limbs, hearing aids, tricycle etc. are provided free of cost.

We distribute winter dresses, socks, shoes, books, notebooks etc. free of cost, whenever any School and NGO approach our Society.

Every year "Jal Sewa" during summer and "Tea Sewa" in winter is organized by our Society.

Our Society organizes "Langar Sewa" for the public on important occasions during the year.

Mission & Vision

The Mission of Maharaja Aggarsain Sewa Sangh (Regd) is to do all the good, by all the means, in all the ways, in all the places, at all the times, to all the people.

Help, resolve day to day problems faced by Members, Aggarwal community and other needy persons of society.

To create platform for the members to vent-out their grievances & try to help individuals facing geniune problems.

Help the effected persons by natural calamaties like floods, earthquakes, draughts, famines & epidemics. Eradicate social evils from society.

Take measures to spread knowledge of MAHARAJA AGGARSAIN'S life history.

To establish, administer and run Hospital, School, College and other Educational Institutions to spread knowledge.

To strengthen brotherhood and ensure communal harmony under adverse situations.

The vision is to restore the faith in the under privileged, that although their pain is real, our efforts, our help, and our hope is real too.

Financial Accountability

Maharaja Aggarsain Sewa Sangh (Regd.) is a Registered Non-Profit organization, and accountable before God and man to be faithful stewards in effectively and efficiently using the contributions we receive by providing help to impoverished people around the world. We work diligently to maintain integrity and transparency in our financial practices.

That is why 100% of all donations go towards our current projects and operating cost. This Society is fully volunteer based; therefore none of your donation goes towards administrative cost. Also, an outside accounting firm will conduct an annual audit of our Society.

In addition, the meeting can be called by the board of advisors or by General Secretary in consuolation with President if 25% members give such request.
